❤️๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’› Concert Nail Art ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

 Hey Guys!

Here are my nails that I did for the Gorillaz concert back in October!

Go easy on me, its my first time attempting gradient nails after being out of the game for so long!

I did rainbow nails because I thought they were so fun, especially with a vertical gradient, which I’ve never done before!

In order of the rainbow, I used Butter London’s Pillar Box Red, China Glaze’s Papaya Punch & Happy Go Lucky, Zoya’s Tilda, China Glaze’s Sunday Funday, and Fresh Paint’s Sophia.

Here’s Miss Cindy:

I honestly think my Cinderella hand came out better than my usual hand ๐Ÿ˜‚

I was thinking of putting China Glaze’s Fairy Dust over the ombre, but thought against it. I wanted the rainbow to stand out on its own, and I’m happy I did! I’ll probably attempt this mani again in the future, and maybe then I’ll add it on top.

Side Note: The concert was AMAZING!!!

Stay tuned for some more Fall Nail Art!

Late Halloween Nail Art: Round 2 ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’€❤️

 Hi guys!

Here’s that other late Halloween Nail Art I promised!

I’m not totally in love with this mani, I was really just trying to build something around the skull stud. I feel like it would’ve been more cohesive with a silver skull stud instead of gold, but oh well, you win lose you lose some.

From left to right, I used Zoya’s Willa on my pointer and middle, Storm on my thumb and ring, and Butter London’s Pillar box Red on my pinky. The stud and rhinestones i’ve had for so long, I can’t even remember when I got it from! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Here’s Miss Cindy as well:

I only had one skull stud, so I put OPI’s Kind-red Spirits over Zoya’s Willa.

Like I said, I’m not in love, but it is what it is. Tune in for my version of concert nails!

Halloween Nail Art! ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ’š

 Hi!

I am so late with posting LOL. But I did these Halloween nails and they were so cute not to post! So here are my Spider themed Halloween nails:

I can’t remember exactly which post it was, but I got the idea for the rhinestone spider from Pinterest!

Below are some shots of the glitter I used, E.L.F.’s Gina Girl, which was like Halloween in a bottle!

Here’s GG over Butter London’s Squatter:

And here she is over Zoya’s Willa:

GG is basically made up of a clear base, with large and small purple glitter, with small red glitter, and even smaller green glitter flecks. It’s like it was made for Halloween!

Here’s another shot of the full mani in the shade. Peep my Halloween decorations ๐Ÿ‘€:

I loved this mani so much, don’t be surprised if I repeat it for next year LOL. Stay tuned for another late Halloween Mani post!

Fall Nail Art Comeback

 Hello!

Long time no chat! Its been awhile, but I am glad to be back doing something I love. Life can be crazy, so its nice to stick with things that I know keep me sane.

For this fall nail art, I decided to do something relatively simple (really just to practice my strokes), so I went with glittery fall hearts.

I used OPI’s Freedom of Peach, Samoan Sand & I Sing in the Coppera.

Obviously its been awhile since I’ve hand painted something ๐Ÿ˜‚ so go easy on me. Practice makes perfect, though!

Here’s a close up of ISITC. I edited it a bit to try and show the natural color, since the sun was washing it out.

And here’s Miss Cindy:

Thanks for tuning in! I plan on doing more fall nail art & swatches, so stay tuned!

Fruit nail art series: Lemons ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ‹

 Hi everyone!

I’m back with my last post of the fruit nail art series, Lemons!

I decided to pair the yellow with navy blue to help it pop and wow, I'm so glad I did ๐Ÿ˜. The yellow is OPI’s I Just Can’t Copa-cabana, and the blue is China Glaze’s Manhunt

I also decided to do a striped accent nail with China Glaze’s Manhunt and OPI’s Angel with a Leadfoot.

I LOVE this mani! It is definitely my favorite out of the series that I did. I love how the navy blue just makes the yellow pop even more! If you liked this mani let me know! Don’t forget to follow me on instagram @hailthenailblog!

You can find the China Glaze nail polish here, the OPI here, and the clay fruit pieces here.

See you guys next time for some fall inspired looks! ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ

Fruit nail art series: Oranges ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ

This is the second post of my fruit nail art series: Oranges! ๐ŸŠ

The main orange color I’m wearing on my pointer and pinky nail, as well as the polish bottle I’m holding is China Glaze’s Papaya Punch. Ironically it was the most accurate orange for this design in my stash, despite being named after another fruit. The clear base with gold glitter on my middle and ring finger is OPI’s Oy-Another Polish Joke!

I decided to accent the orange slices with a cutesy orange print design. For this I used China Glaze’s Papaya Punch and Zoya’s Hunter.

The first two photos are inside with flash. This last photo is under artificial light without flash.

I honestly didn’t know if I liked this design at first, but then I didn’t want to take it off! ๐Ÿ˜ซ You can find the China Glaze nail polishes here, the OPI here, the Zoya here, and the clay fruit pieces here.

Leave a like and comment what you think!

Stay tuned for my next post in the fruit series!๐ŸŠ๐Ÿงก

Fruit series nail art: Watermelon ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰

 Hi everybody!

I got a pack of these fruit clay pieces as an extra with an old online order of mine and I honestly had no idea what to do with them. I also wanted to do fruit themed nails so I decided to incorporate the two together. Thus, we have my fruit nail series! The first post in this series is Watermelon nail art.

I decided to do more of a skittle mani for this post. Here I have the little watermelon clay pieces over China Glaze’s Starboard, which I thought was a nice background to let the watermelon pieces pop on top, and still went with the color theme.

The green and gold glitter on my pointer finger is China Glaze’s Running in Circles, which is also the bottle I’m holding. The red on my pinky is China Glaze’s Hey Sailor. These first two pictures were taken outside with natural daylight.

Here is another photo with flash to show a more accurate depiction of the colors.

You can purchase either of the China Glaze polishes from their website. I got the fruit clay pieces from an Amazon order I made a while ago, but I’m sure there are other retailers that sell them as well.

Thank you guys for reading and stay tuned for my other posts of the fruit nail art series! ๐Ÿ‰❤️๐Ÿ’š
